A Peek Under the Hood of an Energy Storage Demonstration Program

June 10, 2020

12 PM ET | 9 AM PT

The Advancing Commonwealth Energy Storage (ACES) program, sponsored by the MassCEC and the DOER, awarded $20 million across 26 energy storage demonstration projects throughout the Commonwealth in 2017. These 26 projects showcase both behind-the-meter and in-front-of-the-meter deployments, testing a wide variety of storage use cases including demand charge management, frequency regulation, demand response, and power factor correction. Ari Michelson, ERS, will present ACES progress thus far, highlighting successes and challenges encountered throughout the project development and interconnection processes. During the webinar, we’ll take a peek under the hood with Praga, a data scientist on the team, to see the analysis of several ACES revenue strategies pursued by the Grantees.
